Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Inc. prides itself on Military Traditions and one of the many traditions we’ve embraced as our own, the tradition of mentoring. Military Mentorship has been around as far back as June 14, 1775 when the Continental Congress created the US Army.
Our Mentorship Program leads the charge in not only advising the youth within our respective communities, but mentoring our Junior Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coasties within our very own organization.
Upon the start of the Intake Process you are provided a Big Brother that will be with you the entire 6 weeks as well as the rest of your life’s Quest. The bond that you have with your Big Brothers will stand the test of time. We also pride ourselves on pairing our younger Initiated Brothers with our older more seasoned members to ensure that the knowledge is passed down from generation to generation of Lambda Men.
Mentoring today’s youth is not an impossible task simply because young people around the world all have 3 things in common and that is the need to be heard, reassured, and respected. Our members are constantly conveying their youth mentoring experiences within their respective communities via face to face, teleconference, video chat and/or social media interaction.
Our members come from all walks of life both inside and outside of the military to include, but limited to Police Officers, Social Workers, Lawyers, Teachers, Fathers, Husbands and Sons just to name a few. This is how we as a Fraternity stay abreast of all the new trends in coaching, training, and mentoring.
If Mentoring is your passion or even just your hobby Kappa Lambda Chi can provide you with the platform to express yourself and get to know your communities!
